REVIEW: Clinique All About Shadow Duo

I only recently picked up my Clinique eyeshadow quad in 'Teddy Bear' and I was so impressed I thought I would try out their eyeshadow duos. This time I thought I would go outside my comfort zone by getting shades with a slight shimmer to them. Don't get me wrong I love a shimmery eyeshadow but I hate wearing them during the day as they never look that great when you're going for the natural look. I went for 'Buttered Toast' which is one creamy white and one copper/bronze shade.

This has quickly become my go-to duo for when I'm in a rush but want to add some colour to my lids. The lighter shade works perfectly as an all over lid colour and the darker shade, when applied on the crease line really, makes the eyes pop. I prefer my teddy bear quad but this duo creates a perfect bronze eye and looks really nice on. Sometimes when I don't feel like making much of an effort I just wear the darker shade by itself as its a really nice shade and it complements brown/hazel eyes really well. It also reminds me slightly of the shade 'Toasted' on the naked palette, which I love.

Clinique's all about shadow duos retail at £22.00
